There is a line item in my annual accounts for which I am not able to find the exact match?
When you don't find the exact match, look for the best match. You can also combine two-three elements of your annual report and input it against an element in template.
If there is no best match found then you can input the amount against the 'Others' line item available under that schedule. This will ensure all information from your annual report is input in the template.
In my annual reports, Employee Expenses are clubbed under General Administrative Expenses; however in the template same is shown under a separate head?
In the current year you have a fixed taxonomy, so you necessarily need to follow the structure provided by the taxonomy. While doing so, your sub-totals of schedule may not tally with your printed accounts. As far as your final totals tally you need not pay heeds to it.
I have some additional information (say TDS deducted) item corresponding to a numeric fact (say 'revenue from services') Where do I disclose such information in the template?
Such information can be entered as 'footnotes'. If you right click on any item, you will find the option for 'footnotes', which redirects you to a text box window that allows you to enter additional information.
My company is in the service sector and does not have any traded good. What should I enter for "Cost Traded Goods" being a mandatory item?
When you don't have a value for a mandatory item, you can enter the same as zero.
There are two extended links for Fixed Assets '[100600] Schedule - Fixed assets' and '[100610] Schedule - Fixed assets, net-gross classification'. Which of them needs to be filled?
Bothe extended links give presentation for Reconciliation of Classes of Fixed Assets. From an end-user perspective you can fill Extended link '[100610] Schedule - Fixed assets, net-gross classification'. For filling information related to Capital-Work-in Progress you need to fill it in extended link '[100600] Schedule - Fixed assets'
While filling extended link '[100610] Schedule - Fixed assets, net-gross classification' keep in mind that, figures in column for current year i.e. 2011, represent the closing balance 2011 while figures in column for previous year i.e. 2010 represents the closing balance of 2010. So once you enter closing balance of 2010, you need not separately enter opening balance of 2011.
I am getting validation error like 'this element is mandatory', 'previous year value cannot be entered', 'al least one tuple item is mandatory' etc. How do I locate where these elements are found in order to resolve those errors?
If you open a taxonomy reader, browse the presentation linkbase and look for the specific element you may find the extended link in which it falls. In case you don't have a taxonomy reader you can download the latest taxonomy from the MCA website and open the excel version of the taxonomy and go to sheet named as "Presentation".
In this excel sheet you would find the specific elements grouped extended link wise. Once you have located the extended link you can go on there and resolve them.
I am getting validation error as "Following Elements do not have any parent element reported for mentioned period" or "Following Elements do not have any child element reported for mentioned period". How to find in which extended links the Child or Parent of the indicated elements exist?
If you open a taxonomy reader, browse the calculation linkbase and look for the specific element you may find the parent or/and child of the element. In case you don't have a taxonomy reader you can download the latest taxonomy from the MCA website and open the excel version of the taxonomy and go to sheet named as "Calculation".
In this excel sheet you would find the hierarchy of the elements, extended link wise, which will help you locate the parent or/and child of the element and the extended link in which it is present.
While validating my instance document from the MCA validator, I get warning errors for text block items pertaining to HTML content. How to resolve those errors?
These errors come up the when the text lock content does not comply with the HTML guidelines provided in the filing manual.
However, you need not worry about these warning messages as long as you are able to verify the contents of the PDF created through the validation tool. The warning messages will not disallow the pre-scrutiny through validation tool.
